Overview
Overview
In-house web design across a multi-brand music portfolio.

Web designer at Gibson Brands the parent company covering Gibson USA, Gibson Memphis, Gibson Acoustic, Gibson Custom, and the broader brand portfolio including Baldwin, KRK, and other audio brands. Responsible for the digital presence across the Gibson brand family product launch pages, hero banners, microsites, campaign work, CMS updates plus print and event collateral, sales materials, and retail signage.

Challenge
Challenge
Product launches, hero banners, and multi-brand digital work.

Designed product launch pages for new Gibson USA and Gibson Memphis models, including the Les Paul Standard Double Cutaway and Les Paul Traditional lineup pages balancing the aesthetic weight of a heritage brand with the technical specifications guitar players expect. Designed and produced website hero banners across the Gibson.com brand portfolio, managed CMS updates, built imagery for Gibson's Amazon store, and designed the microsite for Gibson's South by Southwest event presence. Designed the front-page hero banner announcing Slash as Gibson's first-ever Global Brand Ambassador the moment the news broke on Gibson.com.

The Best Year Ever launch a first look at more than 60 new electric guitars from Gibson USA and Gibson Memphis was a full campaign system across print ads, landing pages, and digital display ads. The in-house creative team owned the broader campaign; I designed the mobile-first digital invitation and printed event flyer end-to-end.

Additional print and event collateral included the Experience Gibson networking night at Ryman Auditorium, the internal Old Hollywood Holiday Party at Opryland Hotel, a two-page Billboard magazine spread, and Nashville International Airport signage three permanent display cases for Gibson USA acoustic and electric guitar lines, seen by every traveler arriving in Music City. Print and digital work extended across the Gibson Brands portfolio, including sales cutsheets, product ads, and bilingual English/Spanish magazine placements for KRK studio monitors.

Creative Direction
Creative Direction
Heritage brand meets modern digital execution.

Gibson's visual identity carries the weight of a century-old music brand the aesthetic had to feel earned, not designed. Product pages leaned into high-craft product photography and clean typography that gave the guitars room to be the story. Hero banners across the brand portfolio balanced launch-moment urgency with the restraint the brand equity demanded. Event collateral for Experience Gibson and the Old Hollywood Holiday Party each had their own visual system warm and hospitable for the industry networking night, stark black-and-white deco for the internal holiday event. The KRK work adapted to a different visual world entirely bold, technical, and speaker-forward for a professional audio audience distinct from the guitar side of the portfolio.

Outcome
Outcome
A body of multi-brand design work across every touchpoint.

Delivered across the Gibson Brands portfolio product launches, high-visibility brand moments like the Slash announcement, event collateral for both external and internal audiences, permanent retail signage in a major international airport, bilingual print placements, and ongoing CMS and campaign work supporting Gibson USA, Memphis, Acoustic, Custom, KRK, and the broader brand family. Worked alongside product marketing, event teams, executive leadership including the Gibson USA and Gibson Memphis General Manager and the Director of R&D, and print vendors and prepress. Also stepped in to help coordinate creative team projects, deadlines, and milestones during a period of team transition.
